The chosen film, "Ulla Funk's Mission" (directed by Barbara Kronenberg, 2021, 93 min), takes you on an adventure full of courage, science and humor:
Ulja, a 12-year-old amateur astronomer, announces in front of the kids at mass that she has discovered asteroid VR-24-1720, which will enter Earth's atmosphere in just four days and hit another asteroid over Belarus. Her words are interrupted, no one believes her, and her grandmother - the deeply religious Olga - and Pastor Brotz fear that the girl has strayed from the "right faith". What ensues is a race against time, peppered with amusing incidents and touching moments, as Ulja tries to prove her breakthrough and make others look beyond prejudices.
