On August 1st, 2nd and 3rd, you have the chance to discover them step by step during the Heritage of Timișoara guided tours. You'll get to the heart of the local Baroque style - from the 18th-century military architecture to the churches, civic houses and monuments that still define the city's identity. You'll hear well-documented, well-preserved stories as well as surprising details about how Timisoara was shaped by this powerful and refined aesthetic.

This project, initiated by the Prin Banat Association, already has a decade-long history - ten years of cultural intervention, research and promotion of the city's material heritage. In 2025, you once again have the opportunity to see the city with new eyes - through the lens of the Baroque, an artistic and architectural movement that profoundly influenced the way Timișoara was built and has defined itself to this day.
