We invite you to discover the city differently: through its stories, through the places that have shaped its history and through your creativity. The event has two parts - a guided tour and an interactive workshop - and is dedicated to young people who want to better understand Timisoara's identity.
In the first part, you set off on a cultural trail through the historic center, with stops in Unirii Square, Libertății Square, Victoriei Square and the Maria Theresia Bastion. A certified guide will tell you about the evolution of the city, its ethnic and religious diversity, key moments of the 1989 Revolution, as well as its architectural and artistic development and the symbolism of the title of European Capital of Culture 2023.
You will then be invited to a space offered by FITT, where, in a creative workshop, you can give shape to your own reflections: collages, illustrated maps, posters inspired by the city or participate in discussions about Timisoara's cultural values and the influence of multiculturalism on the way we live in this city today.
It's more than a cultural activity - it's an experience that brings the past into the present and transforms it into inspiration.
