JazzyBIT & K-lu is a special project that originated in Timișoara in the summer of 2025, born from the meeting of the explosive energy of the JazzyBIT trio and the soundscape created by DJ and producer K-lu. The collaboration brings together JazzyBIT’s original compositions—featuring elements of hip-hop, electro, bass music, and funk—along with reinterpretations of K-lu’s tracks, enriched by live improvisations and jazz accents. The result is a dynamic performance that straddles the line between jazz, electronic music, and contemporary urban culture.
JazzyBIT, consisting of Teodor Pop (piano and keyboards), Mihai Moldoveanu (bass), and Szabó Csongor-Zsolt (drums), is one of the most acclaimed musical projects in Timișoara, known for its energetic blend of jazz and rock, complemented by blues, Latin, and funk influences. On the other hand, K-lu has been active on the electronic music scene since 2005 and is known for his sets that combine hip-hop, electro, bass music, and samples inspired by classic Romanian films.
At Timișoara City Celebration 2026, JazzyBIT & K-lu will offer a musical experience that reflects the city’s creative, experimental, and diversity-driven spirit.
