From Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 3, 2025, Timisoara becomes the scene of one of the largest cultural programs dedicated to the celebration of the city: Timisoara City Celebration. The event brings together music, visual arts, sports, interactive installations, film screenings, performances and guided tours in an urban platform with no less than 197 events taking place in the main location in the central area: the Civic Park, the Park and I.C. Brătianu Boulevard, but also in the neighborhoods of Timișoara, in more than 35 other venues.

This edition's program is a sincere invitation to rediscover the city step by step. From Fabric to Mehala, from the banks of the Bega to the Cetate, Elisabetin or Iulius Gardens, the cultural route takes you through neighborhoods and spaces with their own identity. For the smoothest possible experience, we recommend you explore the event's official website, where you will find an interactive map with all the active locations, curatorial selections according to interests (music, film, workshops, sports, etc.) and a useful "favorites" function, with which you can build your own personalized program. Concerts on the main stage (Bulevardul I.C. Brătianu) start daily at 19:00 and end around 23:00, while the program in the Civic Park and I.C. Brătianu Park runs from 10:00 to 23:00, with activities for all ages. For those who prefer the physical format of the program, the official event brochure is available at the Tourist Information Center (Alba Iulia Street), as well as at the main event location.

With a multidisciplinary program open to all audiences, this year's edition brings a festival-platform approach:

101 events are taking place in the central location - Civic Park, I.C. Brătianu Park and Boulevard - with free access from morning to night. Here, the public can enjoy live concerts with international and local artists, from James Bay, MIKA, Bajaga i Instruktori, VAMA, Minelli, Theo Rose to Dordeduh, Haos or Blazzaj, creative workshops, silent disco, art installations and DJ sets curated by local festivals.

82 events are spread in over 35 locations in Timișoara's neighborhoods transforming the entire city into an active space of culture and dialogue. For three days, bookshops, cinemas, cafes, industrial spaces or the banks of the Begă become places where communities, artists, architects, athletes and the public curious about the city on the move meet.

14 events dedicated to outdoor sport and movement

Under the umbrella of the "City on the Move" program, this year's sports program includes 14 events: from BMX, skateboarding and judo demonstrations to cycling trails, urban chess, darts, handball and night runs. The focus is on inclusion, accessibility and active participation.
