Where to meet from August 1 to August 3 at Timisoara City Celebration? Civic Park, I.C. Brătianu Park and Boulevard

We meet again, for the second year in a row, right in the heart of the city: the Civic Park, I.C. Brătianu Park and Boulevard - the main location of the event, spread over 20,000+ square meters. Here, for three days, you'll be able to take part in over 100 concerts that bring to the forefront the energy and creativity of the Timisoara music scene.

The main stage, located on the boulevard, will host international artists for the first time in Timișoara, as well as local and national artists. Eleven other stages in the two parks adjacent to the boulevard will offer an authentic musical experience in the lively urban spirit of Timișoara.

The music program is designed to showcase the city's unique voices, sounds and vibe in a vibrant celebration of the local arts community. In addition to the music, you'll also enjoy a generous area of street food, bars and local vendors. It's the perfect place to relax, socialize and support the local economy. Come and celebrate Timișoara with music, local flavors and an unmissable atmosphere - together!

Special public order measures and traffic restrictions to ensure a safe event

In order for the events of Timisoara Day to take place in the best conditions, we have put in place special security and public order measures, together with the local authorities and intervention structures. The central area - Civic Park, I.C. Brătianu Park and Boulevard - will be permanently secured and monitored.

Temporary traffic restrictions will also be in place in this area for the duration of the event and while the venue is being set up. We encourage you to use public transportation, bicycle or walk. Thank you for your understanding and support in organizing a safe and successful edition! Read here for information on all traffic restrictions.

Another 35 locations in Timisoara will host events on the weekend of August 1-3

This year's edition of  Timisoara City Celebration is a sincere invitation to rediscover the city step by step. It takes you through over 35 locations in Timișoara, each with its own atmosphere and story. From Fabric to Mehala, from the banks of the Bega River to the Cetate, or through Elisabetin and Iulius Gardens, the program creates a lively route for anyone who wants to experience the city differently.

We don't list all the venues - you don't have to memorize them. Your best guide is this official event website:

  • An interactive map, with all the places in the city where something is happening.
  • Focuses themed curatorials to help you choose according to interests or areas.
  • The "favorites" feature, which lets you save your own list of events you don't want to miss directly to your phone, tablet or laptop - pick them, press the star and you've got your own personalized schedule.

In addition, from Monday you can also find the official brochure of the event, with the full program of the edition, available at the Tourist Information Center and other points in the city. It contains all the details you need to enjoy over 180 events. Timisoara is waiting for you - rediscover it at your own pace.

What time are the concerts starting?

To tell you here the exact time for all the more than 100 concerts and various events in the Civic Park, the Park and I.C. Brătianu Boulevard would be... a bit complicated. But the good news is that we've already done that in the program page, in the program brochure and in all the events on social media.

However, we'll give you an important landmark: at the main stage on I.C. Brătianu Boulevard, concerts start every evening at 19:00 and end around 23:00. For three nights, the boulevard becomes a dance floor, with artists such as MIKA, James Bay, Bajaga i Instruktori, Minelli, VAMA, Theo Rose, Blazzaj, Dincolo de Ziduri, Ansamblul Timișul and their guests.

In the Civic Park and I.C. Brătianu Park, the program starts at 10:00 in the morning and lasts until late in the evening, with a variety of activities and rhythms to suit all tastes.

To make sure you don't miss anything, on the program page - you can filter events by category, date or location, so you can get exactly where you want, when you want. Simple and efficient, for three days full of music and energy!
